So,here's what I wore in London Fashion Weekend, Somerset house really does look amazing in the background even though the weather was not one of the best but on the positive side,  it wasn't as worst either. This was also my very first time visiting the show after wanting to go for years. Last year, I really wanted to go but since I was only seventeen, I had to bring an adult with me but some of the friends I asked didn't showed much interest; apart from my friend who was the same age as me. (started from the bottom now I'm here:P ,Jokes.)

I had an absolutely amazing day street- styling and wearing one of my OWN design, YES my own. Believe me or not but I made this coat in less than three hours, It was a very rushed piece but nevertheless I was very pleased with it. The amount of positive feedback I got from people that I met in London Fashion Weekend and the continuous request of taking the picture of my outfit was just a big highlight of that day. Not only has it increased my confidence level but it has also given me a  bit of  'hope' that maybe, I do belong in the world of designs; maybe.

The reason for using the baby blue colour is because this season its all about pastel colours and some vibrant colours like lime, bright orange. You may have noticed by now, I have a mutual connection towards bright bold colours whether it is in a college project work or fashion styling. so therefore, I wanted to create a unique piece to wear with an outstanding colour; one that would stand out in the crowd. It wasn't until the mid way while making the garment that I decided why not just a sleeve on one side of my coat to add a bit of edgy feel. So I did.

Trying out some outstanding sunglasses from Sun hut with babs!
And, some Swatch watches who have brought out the pastel, candy colours this season..

beautiful accessories in Somerset house

The trend CATWALK was 40 minutes long which highlighted the must have trends for SS14;
PRECIOUS METALS, FLOWER POWER, LACE UP & GOOD SPORT. The collection overall was absolutely outstanding but my favourite one has definitely got to be Lace up because Lace has always been my favourite. But, they say that this year it's all about flower power and yes, I do agree. till next time,

MASQUERADE GLAM

Hi Guys, First of all I'd like to apologize for the long three weeks delay. I've been very busy with all my college work, trip to Berlin etc.. But don't worry I'm back with two posts. Better late than never right?
So, this post is all about my Masquerade Ball Glam. As the other post about my holiday was too long, I had to make a separate post for this.

As I have already mentioned in my previous post, I had an ah-mazing time in Teneriffe; Spain where I stayed in a FIVE STAR resort; Bahia del duque and the Black & White Masquerade Ball  which took place in our resort was one of the most exciting thing I was looking forward to. Being a girl who doesn't love a bit of glitters, blings and sparkles? well, I most definitely do.

Posing with my best friend, sister Nabina!!

I bought the mask in ebay; and the gorgeous beaded fishtail dress in  miss selfridge; earrings Primark and my shoes from new look

I have to admit that this dress is by far my favourite dress that I treasure (Is it just me or does everyone have that one favourite dress that you keep it like treasure? no? yes, they do ;)) and the beautiful ruffles in the bottom made me feel like a mermaid.  Stepping out of my fairy tale talk, this dress looks outstanding especially at night because of the sequins and beads in the dress and it's a perfect outfit to wear especially in Black & White Masquerade Ball. I did receive many compliments for the dress and I am really glad that the dress I ordered from USA didn't arrive on time as this was my last minute dress to impress.

see you soon,

TENERIFE HAS IT ALL..

Hi Guys, this is one of the post that I'm really really excited to share you about. As an employee working  in an amazing company I won a holiday as an incentive. Of course, I had to work hard for it but it was all worth it and here I will tell you why..

About nearly two months ago, I was on a holiday in Tenerife, Spain. One of the most amazing and beautiful place I've ever been to and by all means, It was the perfect place to get away for a holiday with breath taking scenery, deep blue Ocean and not to forget; the beautiful mountains! To start off with the FIVE STAR resort I was staying at, Gran Hotel Bahia Del Duque is a luxorious residental complex that takes its inspiration from the culture of the Island and the use of old style typical dress as the uniform of the staffs was one of the big highlight of the resort.

We were welcomed by really friendly staffs with a refreshing  juice just outside the resort in that hot weather considering we just arrived from a cold, wet United kingdom. When we found out our room was really far compared to our friends (as the resort was humongous..), one of the staff offered to give us a buggy ride to our room (aww..) So this is how our journey started. I will now take you to my journey in Tenerife, follow me..
clearly excited about my gorgeous room  for thee next few days

with my lovely sister Nabina by the pool; relaxing!

(Isn't the view just beautiful, this was outside our resort..)

We had a seafood Paella; my new favorite Spanish dish. You CANNOT go to Spain and not try this mmhmm..
And some desserts too!! If you didn't know, I'm a big fan of sweets and chocolates and yep, that plate full of desserts is for one person, ME! :P

So, my other favourite moment in Spain was when we went on a boat  in Canary Island. We got to see DOLPHINS (yaayy). I just absolutely love Dolphins, they're soo cute and the fact that they were just a foot step close made my inner Goddess do a back flip.

Inside our resort just before we were heading towards plaza.

What do I even say about this night, makes me smile everytime I remember it. We were looking for a karaoke place but we couldn't find any so we went to this pub/bar where someone was singing on the mini stage so we ended up requesting them if we could sing instead, and yes we got to sing!! You don't want to know how amazing we sang. Jokes. All I can say is we didn't sound so 'good', but hey we did try!! so thankful to the crowd that danced all the way  through our song. We had such a fab night!

On our last night, we had a Black & White theme Masquerade Ball. Being a girly girl, I love glitters, sparkles and getting glamed up for the ball was something that I really enjoyed! I had one of the best time in Tenerife and the resort was on another level, will definitely recommend it to everyone. I have such beautiful memories there; something that I will never forget.
I will also be blogging about my Masquerade ball outfits and accessories in a new post which will be up in a week. In the meantime, I'm going to Berlin, Germany the day after tomorrow so better get back to packing..(will be posting about my trip, of course!)

P.s- my 'Join this site' gadget is not working :( but please do follow me if you can and thanks to everyone for visiting my blog..
