Getting a call from University saying that I will be joining Wrangler as a Trade and Retail Marketing intern has been one of the most exciting and unbelievable news I've ever got in my life. I remember asking Laura "OMG!! Sorry, could you repeat that again!?" and now here I am giving direction to tourists about where 'Grote Markt' is.

Moving outside of UK to explore and surround myself in a country full of new people, culture and environment. I cannot belive as I am writing this that it has nearly been three months since I moved to Belgium. When I first arrived in Belgium, I had absolutely no idea what to expect from Belgium apart from tons of  'Waffles', 'Fries, and of course good ol' 'Beer'. At the moment of pure joy and happiness, you don't realise the responsibilities of moving in a new country. The horror of moving in only two days after the exam and a big project hand in (a days apart) has absolutely been a nightmare. Not being able to make up for the amount of hours I spent all those time in the library with only few hours of sleep thinking I will make up for it after the exam by sleeping, eating and sleeping! Boy oh boy, how wrong was I.

Finding apartment has been one of the hardest part of moving to a new country because of different rules, regulations and mainly trying to find houses/apartments close by the station to work. Spending hours and hours of research and time into finding an apartment, not knowing the area and what the country is like has been a nightmare! So, by the time of the moving day, still no luck for the houses. Thankfully, Brian Chesky, came up with Airbnb that saved my life. The morning train delay to London and the panic call to Eurostar about missing the train to Belgium. Dragging the suitcases through one hundred million miles in heavy rain and suitcase getting stuck in the lift overnight and sleeping with the same wet, soggy clothes has been a nightmare.

All this sounds like a story as I now look back and laugh at it. I definately have learned a lot within these three months. In my next blog I'll guide you through my adventerous trips and journey so far.
